Munchkin Kitchen cupcakes, muffins and cookies are freshly made to order and contain no preservatives. They are made using only the highest quality, natural ingredients such as pure Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, and real fruits. The cupcakes and muffins are best eaten within 2 days of delivery, if they last that long. However they can last up to a week and still taste yummy,but not at their best, if they are kept in an airtight container or you can wrap the delivery box in film. Please store somewhere cool out of direct sunlight. Please do not put in the fridge as this sets off a chemical reaction and will make your cakes prematurely stale.
Cookies will last up to two weeks in a tin but are at their best eaten within 3 days. Cookies can be frozen to extend their shelf life.
If you are displaying your cupcakes please display away from direct sunlight and or radiators to avoid your product deteriorating
All our standard cupcakes will come with a suitable decoration on top of the buttercream icing. The toppings are normally chocolate curls or a decoration which ties in with either the colour or the flavour of your chosen buttercream or when available seasonal fruit. Please see our photo gallery for examples. Should you wish for a more elegant decoration such as hand made flowers and sprinkles then please see our premium cupcakes. Should you require a more tailor made cupcake then please contact us. We should be able to make any design you require. The limit is only your imagination.
We make all our own toppings such as chocolate curls, gum paste flowers and decorations. So lots of love and attention goes into each cupcake. We try wherever possible to avoid using any additives or unnecessary colours or preservatives when making our cakes and all the buttercreams are made using real fruit to give the colour rather than food colourings.
However the decorations and gumpaste flowers will have permitted colours in them which we are currently unable to avoid. Should you have any special requirements please contact us.
Our delivery times are Tuesday – Friday 6pm-9pm, Saturday 3pm-6pm. If you wish for a delivery outside of these times then please contact us.
For Weddings, birthdays and special orders we will deliver these to your designated venue. A delivery charge and set up cost may be added to your order. We also offer stand hire and wedding cake stand hire.
When ordering please allow 48 hours for us to make your delicious cupcakes from scratch. If you require an urgent order then please contact us and we maybe able to accommodate your order subject to volume and availability of ingredients.
For special occasions such as weddings, birthdays and anniversaries and large cake orders we will need as much notice as possible to make your cakes to your specification. You will also need to book early to avoid disappointment if we are fully booked for the dates you require.
