We take your privacy extremely seriously, we only request sufficient information in order to process your order and deliver safely to the desired address and be able to contact you if necessary. Delivery

Delivery (including delivery charges and timescales) Website purchased goods over £10.00 are free of delivery charges within the stated delivery area.

Delivery charges and timescales vary depending on the type of products ordered, the service you select and the delivery address.

Please note that certain products and services may be subject to Additional Terms and Conditions of Sale relevant to the delivery charges and/or timescales applicable to that product or service.

Delivery will be within the delivery area shown within this website or agreed by us prior to your order being placed. Please ensure that someone is available at a residential or other address at the time of delivery.

All risk in the products you order (including risk of loss and/or damage to the products) shall pass to you when they are delivered to the delivery address specified in your order.

Delays

Occasionally, the supply of your product(s) or service(s) may be delayed or prevented for reasons beyond our control – for example, material shortages, import delays or higher than anticipated demand. Where this is the case, we will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed but shall be under no liability to you for such delay or failure.

Your right to cancel

Damaged or incorrectly supplied products: You should check all products you receive against your order. This is actioned by our staff at the time of delivery if the products are being received by the purchaser to ensure all is correct, as requested, and that they are in a satisfactory condition. If there are any queries in any way this should be made known to the member of staff straightaway in order we can action as necessary. As you can appreciate deliveries which are being made to a third party on your behalf for example a reception of a work place or hospital can only be checked by the nominated person receiving.

Substitution

In the event that a particular products and/or service is unavailable we will contact you to make suitable and agreeable changes to your order with a substitute alternative products or services of equal quality and value at no extra cost to you.

However, where this is the case, you will always have the right to accept or refuse any products or services that we substitute. If you choose to refuse any alternative product that we have substituted, we will offer a refund or replacement.

Liability

We will use reasonable skill and care in fulfilling any order placed by you which is accepted by us. However, we exclude all other representations, warranties, conditions and terms express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise to the fullest extend permitted by law and, except where required by law, we will not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential or economic loss or for loss of profits or revenues howsoever caused arising in connection with any order placed by you.

We will not be liable to you where we breach these General Terms and Conditions of Sale due to any cause that is beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, explosions, floods, tempests, fires or accidents; wars or threats of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition; acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local authority; import or export regulations or embargoes; strikes, lock-outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes; difficulties in obtaining materials; labour, fuel, parts or machinery; power failure or breakdown in machinery.

Terms and Conditions of sale for corporate orders

When purchasing products and services from Munchkin Kitchen for corporate bodies, please use the contact form in the Corporate section of the web site, this is a tailored facility and is not available for purchase through the website.

Use of Munchkin Kitchen name and logo

You may not use any product image, corporate title, designation, service mark, trademark or any other trading name or style of S J Sweeney & Company Limited and / or Munchkin Kitchen Catering Company without having first obtained our consent in writing.

Payment

All goods and services purchased through the internet website are payable through PayPal. For goods and services through other means are payable by cheque, electronic bank transfer or deposit direct to our nominated bank account.

We have no access to or knowledge of your nominated debit/credit card details at any time when you pay through the PayPal facility through this website. All details are handled between you and PayPal. We simply receive the physical funds in to our nominated bank account for your order.

Gift tag service

The gift tag service is your own personal and non commercial use. You agree that any message posted by you on your gift tag or sent by us on your behalf to a third party will not contain anything which could be construed as harassing, threatening, vulgar, abusive, obscene, defamatory, racist or which may cause embarrassment or distress to any person that are otherwise unlawful or objectionable , you also agree that you will not impersonate any person. You are entirely responsible for any text or other material which you post or send on this message system and Munchkin Kitchen accepts no liability for any such content. We do not pre-screen messages but may monitor content from time to time. We have the right to refuse to send or display messages at any time and without liability to you.

Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order

We will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and details of your purchase with delivery information.

Availability

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.
